Discovering 5D Freedom: A Journey Beyond Limits

Two weeks ago, I had the privilege of immersing myself in the transformative world of a 5D Freedom Retreat. This wasn’t just any retreat—it was a journey through dimensions of self-awareness, connection, and healing. The retreat was organized by Stacey Seedorf, founder of the State of Mind Network, and blended 5D coaching, a chakra journey, kundalini practices, meditations, and a soul-nurturing cacao ceremony, all set against the serene backdrop of the ocean. To top it off, a tranquil boat trip offered the perfect metaphor for flowing into a new state of being. Join me as I recount this unforgettable experience that expanded my horizons and deepened my connection to self and spirit.

It all began on the first evening with a warm and welcoming social gathering. And what an incredible group it was! Nineteen people, each from diverse backgrounds and unique walks of life, yet we connected on a level that felt profound and effortless. Meeting so many like-minded individuals was truly inspiring, and it was remarkable how quickly we formed genuine connections with people who, just hours before, were strangers.

The tribe!

The next day began with transformative sessions led by coach Stacey (@stacey.seedorf). He challenged us to take an honest look at how we present ourselves, offering invaluable insights and practical tools to elevate both our online presence and overall presentation style. Stacey’s approach was a unique blend of ruthlessness and gentleness, pushing us to grow while making us feel supported.

During this session, Stacey gifted each of us an Amethyst crystal—a symbol of protection, cleansing, and relaxation. This crystal was meant to serve as our anchor, a tangible reminder of our inner strength and the reassurance that we are safe and capable.

Day three began with a serene yet invigorating Flow Yoga session by the sea, led by Dominique (@dolistic_movement). It was the perfect way to start what would turn out to be a fascinating day. Dominique also introduced us to a powerful release technique—shaking loose, stamping our feet, yelling it out, and simply letting go. We affectionately named this move “a Dominique,” and it’s become my go-to practice whenever stress tries to sneak in.

During the meditation that followed the yoga session, I experienced a moment of profound clarity. A vivid vision emerged, accompanied by a deep sense of certainty about my next endeavor. But more on that in another blog post 😉

We then moved to a yoga studio, where I was taken on a completely new type of chakra journey. A chakra journey is a guided experience designed to balance and activate the body’s energy centers, known as chakras, each of which is linked to specific emotions, qualities, and parts of the body.

Dominique had us blindfolded, encouraging us to move freely to the music while following the guidance of her voice. Each chakra had its own distinct melody, and I was amazed at how deeply my body responded to the experience. I laughed, I cried, I felt a sense of liberation. Somehow, I even ended up on the other side of the room, despite feeling like I hadn’t moved much. When I removed my blindfold, I found myself facing a wall adorned with a large angel painting, adding to the sense of awe I felt in that moment.

We wrapped up a deeply emotional day with the Manomaya Kosha Meditation led by Astrid (@moyolifenederland). Her calming, gentle voice, combined with the sounds of drums, rain sticks, soft music, and her beautiful singing transported me to a place of safety and serenity—a place that felt like home. Afterward, I felt as if I were floating, carried by the calm energy of the afternoon.

On day 4, we set off on a day trip to the uninhabited island of Klein Curaçao. The sea was calm, making for a smooth two-hour ride to a stunning white sand beach with crystal-clear turquoise waters. For the first time, I saw a manta ray in the wild, which was truly magical.

Stacey gave us an assignment to create a video introducing ourselves to the world. I’ll admit, this was something I had been dreading—one of those challenges I needed to face. But I did it, and afterward, I felt an enormous sense of relief. With that behind me, I was able to fully enjoy the rest of the day.

The energy on the island was uplifting, and that high vibration was contagious. On the boat ride back, our positive energy spread to the rest of the passengers, leading to an impromptu dance party. Age, language, and nationality barriers melted away, and we became one big, happy family. I felt like I was floating on cloud nine.

The next morning, I woke up with the sudden realization that this incredible journey was coming to an end. As a result, I wasn’t feeling as much of the flow anymore. We began the day with a cacao ceremony led by Lynsey (@lynsey_amor). A cacao ceremony is a sacred ritual using pure ceremonial-grade cacao to open the heart and deepen spiritual connections.

As we moved through the ceremony, emotions surged, and for a while, I felt an overwhelming sense of sadness, as if I had lost my flow. But during the sharing circle that followed, I had an awakening. I realized there was no reason for me to feel that way. While the retreat was nearing its end, the lessons I had learned and the connections I had made were just the beginning. They would stay with me for a lifetime.

Next, we had our Kundalini session. Kundalini is the primal life force energy believed to lie at the base of the spine, waiting to be awakened and rise through the chakras. This session brought up a wave of emotions for me once again. Lynsey’s soothing voice and gentle touch moved me to tears, but amidst the emotional release, I also felt an overwhelming sense of peace. It was as if she was quietly reassuring me that everything would be alright.

After the Kundalini session, it was my turn for a one-on-one coaching session with Stacey. He guided me to look deep within, challenging me to uncover the root of why I felt “stuck” and offering practical tips on how to overcome self-doubt. Stacey also encouraged me to move forward with the vision I had experienced during my meditation. By the end of the session, I felt energized and motivated, ready to take action on my plans.

Next, we experienced the Quantum Journey with Petra (@petrajfrey). This method combines guided relaxation and visualization to access the subconscious mind and even higher dimensions of awareness. Petra’s gentle voice calmly led me into a dream-like state, which was incredibly soothing. When the session ended, I felt completely refreshed as though I had just woken up from a deep, restorative sleep.

The day came to a powerful close with a Tribal Transformation ceremony led by Stacey. The setting was nothing short of magical—a remote beach at sunset, with the mesmerizing sound of drums echoing in the background. The energy was electric and undeniably palpable. It was an experience unlike anything I had ever encountered before. Simply put, it was amazing!

On the final day, we had our last sessions with Stacey, where he shared invaluable insights about marketing, promotion, and branding. He offered practical nuggets of wisdom on building a social media presence, creating ads, and using the right tools to promote yourself effectively. Some of us had the chance to present ourselves, and it was incredible to witness the transformation in everyone who stepped forward.

The day wrapped up with our final video challenge, presented to the entire group. It was heartwarming to see how much more comfortable everyone had become on camera—some more than others 😁—and how Stacey managed to bring out the best in each of us.

We concluded this unforgettable journey with a lovely group dinner, where we said our goodbyes. It was bittersweet, but deep down, I feel this isn’t the last we’ve seen of each other. Stay tuned—there’s more to come…

And as I look back on this journey, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude—for the lessons, the laughter, the tears, and most of all, the connections that have left a lasting imprint on my heart. This retreat wasn’t just a pause from daily life; it was a powerful reset, a reminder of what truly matters, and an invitation to keep growing. The bonds we formed and the insights we shared feel like the beginning of something extraordinary. To my fellow 5D-ers —thank you for being part of this beautiful journey.
